Charging StationsInternet Connectivity

Internet Connectivity

To manage the station, you must ensure it is connected to the internet.

Your charging station may already be connected to the internet — you can check this using the manufacturer’s mobile app.
Charging stations typically connect to the internet using one of the following methods:

LAN Connection

If your station is connected via a LAN cable, it most likely already has internet access.

Wi-Fi Connection

If your station does not have a LAN connection but supports Wi-Fi, you can configure the connection using the manufacturer’s app.

SIM Card

If your station does not support LAN or Wi-Fi, you can insert a SIM card to provide mobile internet connectivity.

Installing a SIM Card

You can use any SIM card and insert it into your charging station according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you don’t have a SIM card, you can easily purchase one, order it via the Client Portal, or contact us directly.

  • Order , buy at your nearest store, or receive a SIM starter from us — for example, from Orange
  • Activate  the SIM starter
  • Then, you can activate the lowest IoT 0.5 GB package according to the instructions
  • In your charging station provider’s app, set the APN as described in the above instructions

After installing and configuring the SIM card in the manufacturer’s app, you should see the internet connection status of your charging station.
